Your data, your choice.
This notice explains how The Flow Academy uses optional Google Analytics on this website and how you can manage your choice.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Who is responsible?
Carlos Varona is the controller for this website’s analytics data. The Flow Academy operates in Marbella, Málaga, Spain. For privacy questions or requests, email carlos@theflow.academy.
What analytics do we use, and why?
If you choose “Allow analytics”, this site loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service provided by Google, to understand visits and improve the website. Analytics is optional; rejecting it does not prevent you from using the site.
GA4 receives the page being viewed, a cleaned page referrer, and interaction events such as timetable views and clicks on phone, WhatsApp, map, or site-navigation links. Click events include limited context such as the page, link placement, destination, or venue. This site does not send the contents of WhatsApp messages to GA4. Google may also collect information such as browser, device, approximate location, and online identifiers through its tag and cookies.
Cookies, consent, and your choices
GA4 uses first-party cookies and identifiers, including cookies with names such as _ga, to distinguish browsers and sessions and measure site use. The site stores your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. GA4 is loaded only after you allow analytics. If you reject it, the site does not load the analytics tag; you can change your choice at any time using in the footer.
Google Signals and data sharing
Google Signals and ads personalisation are enabled in our GA4 property. If you allow analytics, Google may use information from signed-in Google users who have ads personalisation enabled to provide cross-device and demographic or interest reporting, and to support personalised advertising.
We have also enabled GA4 data sharing for Google products and services, modelling contributions and business insights (including benchmarking), technical support, and account specialists. Google may use the data for the purposes described in its data-sharing documentation. Google may process data in countries outside Spain or the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards and terms applicable to its services. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.
How long is analytics data kept?
The GA4 property is set to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months. Google then automatically deletes that data from Analytics servers. Google’s retention setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports in the same way; see its data-retention documentation.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive certain data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings; this does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
To exercise a right or ask a question, contact Carlos Varona at carlos@theflow.academy. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es.
